Simply login into your C1 account and reset the activations. Then you are able to activate your software again.

I appreciate the response.  I would like to have Capture One activated on both computers.  To my understanding, that should be possible.

I gather that if I reset my activations, that will not be possible (I'd lose it on my desktop, and am trying to also activate it on a new laptop).

You can activate at least two devices.

If you reset the activations, you need to re-activate each device.

I guess I find this route confusing, as I am not out activations as it currently stands, so I'm not sure why I'd need to reset them.  It seems to me like I'd just run into the same problem again?

I'm following up here because I reset my activations and continue to get the same error message, and have stopped getting any replies on here with any help.

I haven't had any problems to activate my installations after resetting the activations in my account. If none of the community users can help, maybe it's time to create a support ticket at the Capture One support!
