Extracting/exporting C1 Preview Files from Catalogue
Hi
Long and boring story, but briefly, I managed to reformat my images drive a couple of months back. I thought I had recovered all my images via cloud backup, but I've just discovered I missed some - and now they're gone.
Bearing in mind that I've lost these files entirely, there are some fairly substantial preview files (1.5 - 2 Meg) in the catalogue.
Is there a way to extract and/or export these files? They would be better than nothing.
TIA

The jpeg quickproof recipe may perhaps do the job?

Thanks OddS, but no.
What I'm trying to access is the files in cache produced by this process - see screen cap.

The .cop file is not in a directly usable format as I understand it. But OddS's suggestion is probably the best you can get - it creates a JPG from the preview file. As the link he provided says, Quickproof basically converts the preview file into a JPG, which is as far as I can see no different from what you are hoping for. The higher the resolution of your previews, the higher the resolution of the resulting JPG will be.

Thanks OddS and Ian
You were quite correct.
Maybe I should give up on the challenges of photography and take up crochet!! 🤪
