The release notes include this statement.

    Isn't 13.0.1 not yet supported?

    Intel Core i3 (1st generation)
    8 GB of RAM
10 GB of free hard disk space
Calibrated monitor with 1280×800, 24-bit resolution at 96dpi
    macOS 11, macOS 12, macOS 13 (macOS 13 builds up to 13.0)
Internet connection to run Capture One Live

True, macOS13.0.1 is not officially supported. We are very conservative with these support statements for a reason.

Douglas, please give some details of your setup. For me, Capture One 23 (16.0) runs on macOS13.0.1 and also on 13.1 beta 2.

    - Computer model
    - Catalog/Session
    - any external storage involved
    - Admin or Standard user
    - Does it hang, crash or is there an error message?

Previously running Capture One 22 on a 2017 iMac Pro w OS 13.0.1

3 External flash drives. COP23 is on the iMac Pro HD

It's my personal computer so I'm guessing that I would be the Admin

The COP23 hangs and the only way to quit the app is to use the force quit option.

After Capture One released the latest update, all was fine with no problems.

Apple released it's latest Ventura update and after that, Capture One Pro 23 will not run. I've deleted the app and reinstalled it with no success.

For me it works on 13.0.1 too. I held off installing Ventura until after Capture One 23 was available, and then 13.0.1 was the version of Ventura that I got, and all was well.

    Somehow everyone's system is different!

Working now! The only thing I did was delete the app and reinstall. I still get a spinning wheel but this time it opened. For now :)

Douglas, if you encounter this again, please open Activity Monitor and create a Spindump of the Capture One process while it is hanging. Send this to Capture One Support with your other details. That would help us a lot drilling down on the problem.
