I agree. I just checked and it is doing that for me too. Strange.

Perhaps worth reporting in a Support case.

Are you on Ventura? The screenshot I added to my reply above was from my MacBook Pro which is on Ventura. I just tried the same thing on my iMac which is on Capture One 23 but still on Monterey, and the loupe tool behaves as it always did. So maybe it is something to do with Ventura.

You have released the update 16.0.1.17 and this problem has not been solved.

That's not what I expect as a professional photographer after paying a software.

You have given priority in giving compatibility with the new camera models, to acquire more customers, and not to solve software problems.

You should first make the software functioning. And then think about acquiring new customers.

You will also know about the problem and is not indicated in the "known Issues". Why?!

Every year always the same story.
    Deeply disappointed.

ALESSIO FURLAN - I don't know about you, but the first I knew of this issue was 11 days ago when you first posted about it. The update to 16.0.1 was released 3 days ago, so just over a week after your post. Do you reasonably expect them to have solved this issue in a week? I have no idea why this problem has arisen, and why it is OK under Monterey and not OK under Ventura. Do you? If so perhaps you can explain it to the developers. In any case, I imagine that 16.0.1 was already pretty much finalised by the time you posted.

At least the Loupe tool works - in that you can still see a magnified portion of the image - although it doesn't look as good as it should. It's hardly a game changer, is it?

Ian Wilson. It's not my problem. I don't development software. I am a photographer. And when I work badly my customers want a discount or reimbursement. They don't justify me.

I paid for the good software with good money and I want software functions or that, at least, solve problems. Problem, among other things, which has not even been indicated among the "known issues" in the release note.

    This is my opinion.

And after you reporting it 11 days ago, what do you think is a reasonable time scale for them to come up with a fix? Less than a week? Because that appears to be what you are demanding.

Yep. Loupe tool does not work at all. Pops up and vanished right away. Please fix this asap!

That may be a different problem from what Alessio and I have. We have the loupe tool, but as you can see from the screenshots it doesn't look as it should.

You should report this, because it may be a different issue that they need to know about. (Use the Submit a request link at the top right of forum pages.)
