As SFA says the process is:
    Rate/Color Tag the images,
turn on the appropriate filter switches to see only those rating/color tag images,
select all those images and move or delete them as desired.
Repeat for other rating/color tag combinations.

Why not just first mark all rejected images, say red,
turn on the red filter, select them all and delete them to Trash?
Start star rating the remainder after that.

    Thanks.

This is a very poor solution because, some people who working on the images, doesn't know that, red label is label to remove :|.

May is some solution to change name of label?
    Than, i change labels to:

    • red - To remove
    • orange - To Select again
    • purpure - Ready to rating but - can be removed - not important photos from series
    • blue - Waiting for client reposne
    • yellow - Ready to rating
    • green - READY TO PROCESSING
    • ......

But now this application is to poor in this case...
Maby developer create some mechanizm because this is really important.

I see what you mean, you want to change the color tag value label as shown in the metadata.
So "Color Tag - Red" becomes "Color Tag - To Remove" in the metadata.

You would have to submit a feature request to C1 to get that implemented:
    https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=5001426573597
Down the bottom of that page there is a "Camera and Feature Request" link.

    > gb:  ...you want to change the color tag value label...

It may work if the color tags are only to be used with Capture One. The color is not in the metadata, but the label is.

Many applications (like capture One) have a simple map between label and tag color. If label is "red", display a red tag, if label is "blue" display a blue tag. If metadata has label "To Remove", the red tag may not show up in in all applications. Different label-color mappings caused quite a bit of confusion some years back. Adobe had different maps in Lr and Bridge, and color tags did not work like the user expected.

I think labels commonly just spell out the English color name these days. I have seen at least one application fail when the German user interface was enabled, changing the map label "red" to "rot". When an image's metadata said "red", the application displayed the wrong tag color.

Edit to include a link to an article that explains it better: https://asktimgrey.com/2019/04/16/color-labels-in-metadata/

Sounds like Mancebo's images are being worked on by multiple C1 users
who would not necessarily know what to do with say a Blue tagged image.
If, as in his example above, a blue tag had a "Waiting for client response"
label in the C1 metadata tab, everyone would know the status of blue tagged images
and what to do with them.
So his request is about labeling options rather than filtering.
Guess he could color tag, filter for that color, then write to the IPTC Content metadata fields
of one image then copy/paste that metadata to all previously filtered images but
    that sounds pretty awkward.

    Thanks for answers.

    IPTC  - doesn't working with:

    • Adobe Lightromm 5.7
    • ViewNx2
    • Capture One Pro 23
    • Propertis files

I did a lot of combination. This programs above doesn't include this data tagged as label.

Yes, i working with a few peoples, and i thougt, i use some another software to tag (set label) to photos, and put it to processing in Capture One Pro 23.
But this solution doesn't work with any combination.
Sooo, If i pay for a really professional program that does't have basic function (some flags, some labels with custom name) this is really sad.
I think that function is not really hard to develop.

I would like to use labels in Capture One 23 but if this labels will save in IPTC  , and simple filtering, but this also doesn't work...look below

    > Mancebo: I think that function is not really hard to develop

Probably not, but you would have to do it for each application where you want that functionality. Customizing may take more time than you appreciate and perhaps also cost more.

If you could do with a single application for all your users, Photo Mechanic already has the solution suggested by @gb, meaning you can combine a color tag with your own preferred label. The problem is that PM puts that label rather than the color name in metadata.

If the purpose is to have other users rate and color tag your images, you should be able to find web gallery software that will work for you.
