The 16.2.2 update we released yesterday should fix this issue. You can download it here.

@... Download it this evening and give it a whirl. Would hate for you to be running new software on a campaign shoot.

There's always the option of using an older version. But I understand that your camera may not be supported.

If it comes down to this, then consider downloading 15.4.3 from here: https://www.captureone.com/en/account/download#previous

Unfortunately, as it stands right now: unusable. Had a full day of back-to-back tethered shooting and I had to restart C1 23 (version 16.2.0.112) about 15 times, twice I had to reboot my system as I did not notice the low memory warning and kept shooting. Another new problem that I did not have before is that my camera (Canon R5) frequently disconnects during tethered shooting. Running it on a MBP M1 Pro with 16GB RAM.

    Hello Conrad von Schubert

If you look  little further up in the thread They believe they have fixed the issue in the latest version. 16.2.2

If you want to continue using CO23 I'd try updating it and see how goes. I personally went back to CO22 awhile ago and am just waiting for some more reports back that 16.2.2 really did fix the problem before I go back to CO23. So far there's only been one person that's reported it's fixed the issue. But other people haven't been complaining so hopefully that's a good sign.

    Hello Andrew Mitchell

Thanks for the heads-up! Indeed, the update fixed the buffer issues entirely for me (which btw only occurred on Apple Silicone and not Intel Macs). I am running 16.2.2 and shot tethered to Canon R as well as Fuji GFX cameras for extended periods without running into low memory alerts.

    Conrad
