hmm... Good question, importing JPGs allows the photos to be viewed without using Capture One using Finder. Finder won't let you preview or open RAW files without Capture One or some other software.

Thanks all for your valuable input. I will try shooting in raw only. After hours of trying to clean Up both raw and jpeg photos I now see the error of my ways.
