Tkx Christian, i hate to ug from 10.8.4 bc it so stable on 6.45, is 10.8.4 stable on 7.15?

im sure there is a tradeoff, bringing this backup to see if there is any improvement with the 7.1.4 version? i really like the features with v7, but am happy with 6 for the stability.

I have the same MBP as you have (2.2 Samsung 840 SSD 16 g mem and 1/2 gig video ram), and am happy with V 6.45, and it works GREAT. Does not do well with V 7 at all (although I haven't tried 7.2â€¦...

There is NO library within user.............there is HD>library>ColorSync (NONE within USER:)........this is Lion 10.7.4 (fresh system install and fresh 6.4.3 install........
