Just got around to trying speed edit and was about to send in this suggestion. Absolutely agree, this should have been thought of. Anyhow, better late than never,please get it done!

further postscript:Actually, when importing from a Lightroom catalog, the contrast setting is imported. Can someone explain why contrast is imported from Lightroom, but not from Aperture?
