Thanks for the reply, I now create a second set of jpeg files when converting from raw to Tiff which solves the problem.

IPTC data and proofs
After I have added IPTC information and batched to Tiff the IPTC data is carried through correctly. My problem is that when proofing these same files the IPTC information is lost in the final jpegs...
