    Thanks for your input brianmerwin, kind of what I expected. Makes it easy for me to stick with LR. There is no reason to flatten the files and to risk having to restart if my client wants to change...

    Working with flattened TIFF files (50MB) is fine, but I leave the layers in, in case I need to change something later. Works fine in LR, but Capture One 9 is very slow. Takes about 7 seconds to ren...
