I too found it to be slower.The only thing that is faster than before is turning on the cooler and the running speed of the cooler.

Thank you all for your input!The problem has been solved. I had been working on a JPEG file, and on JPEG files the clarity adjustment does not work, just like Auto Mask does not work on JPEG files....

I have updated to 10.2 and have had no problems. I find it noticeably faster with my Sony 42MB RAW files.
