I use AMD chips and v5 takes about a second to give me the sharp preview. Zooming to 100% view takes a few seconds to sharpen. Totally usable for me.

The full version mentioned in the post Paul pointed to ( http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/d ... 1f31ab88b7 ) solved my problem. For some reason the version Windows Update suggested didn't work...

I would recommend moving either C1 cache or preferably the windows swap file to a different drive. Especially moving windows swap file away from windows drive usually helps all applications.

I had the .net-problem but solved it by installing the correct version... 🤠Should never upgrade in a hurry...

Maybe Liam could raise a support case and report back here? The systems are close enough, Win7, CS4 and current version of C1. The support case froze on me.

Did the upgrade to my main computer. I first installed the complete .net package and upgraded C1 after that. Worked perfectly.

Hi pedrocaseiro. Which drive is the one you have installed C1 onto? Which drive contains the pictures you are working with? And where is your Windows swap file located? And where are C1 cache located?
