I installed El Capitano and CO 8.3.3 on three machines.MBP late 2011 Canon tethered with Kanex adapter, Mac Pro 2010 and iMac 2013.No problems found yet.Nice and fluid.

Yes I'm running an external monitor and a SSD. But this can't be the reason, no?I think the dust isn't the problem, the computer operates normal in other apps. And people here report the same issue...

Yes it gets warm when I start CO... So compressed air might be a really bad idea.

That's a bug in 6.4.4., I just tested it in 6.4.3., everything is fine in this version.
