auto adjust error

Hello everyone:

short question, I get the following error message when I click on auto adjustments: "Some of the selected variants could not be customized." (In German: Einige der ausgewählten Varianten konnten nicht angepasst werden.)

When I clicked auto adjust, it seems like the auto adjust for exposure, white balance, etc is not working correctly. The results then look extremely strange. 

I haven't found anything about this here on the forum or in the manual or tutorials. What can I do?

  Hello René,

  What format are the images that aren't being adjusted? For example, WB can't be adjusted very easily on JPEG files, and C1 can't make any adjustments to video files. I've also found that Auto doesn't work well on TIFFs, so I need to adjust those completely manually. I haven't tried to adjust PNGs or HEICs, and assume they'll work similar to JPEG because both file types are compressed.

  Thank you for your lines. I'm working with Nikon RAW files, they call it NEF.
