Remove stray hair outside the hair area
Use the Outer Hair control to reduce or remove stray hairs that appear outside the main hair area. This includes loose hair strands extending into the face area or surrounding the subject.
Capture One automatically detects stray hair and applies the adjustment to the selected person.
Remove stray hair inside the hair area
Use the Inner Hair control to reduce stray hairs that appear within the main hair area.
This can help create a more polished appearance while retaining the overall shape and texture of the hairstyle.
Protect areas from retouching
Some hairstyles contain intentional loose strands or details that should remain untouched.
Like Blemish Removal, Stray Hair Retouching allows you to protect areas from retouching. This gives you additional control when the automatic detection does not match the result you want.
Adjust the protection mask
Use the Stray Hair Protection Brushes to add areas that should be preserved or remove areas from the protection mask.
Protection masks are useful when:
- You want to keep specific hair details
- Automatic detection removes areas you want to preserve
- You need additional control over the final result
