Script for Leica Q3 raw crop modes 35/50/75/90 mm
Here is a workaround thru a script for raw crop modes for LEica

Hey Goreti Lima, thanks for posting this, looks super helpful!
However, since this is not a feature request, I have to move this post to another topic. I'll move it to the Photography Talk for now, but we will see if it makes sense to create a new topic for tips and tricks or something.
Thanks again for sharing this with the community! 💙

It was a response and workaround to a feature request.
Now it is hidden and not much help.
Nothing personal, just an observation.

It was a response and workaround to a feature request.
You should have posted in this thread then, as a continuation of the topic. The best place now would be "Development and Automation Workflows - Scripting" anyway, so another move is IMO necessary.

It wasn’t my post, Marcin.
You are probably correct with where it should have been placed if it was just some random suggestion but I recall seeing it it as part of a thread regarding the reading of an in-camera crop adjustment not being shown when importing an image into C1.
So, the original poster may have been responding to either one of the interminable EXIF reading threads or a Leica Q2/Q3 camera feature request. Being exiled to the Photography Talk thread, or even the long winded ‘Development and Automation Workflow -Scripting’ thread is not really helpful to anyone who has experienced the issue as they are not intuitive areas to look for an answer to it.
I understand the importance of keeping the Forum threads tidy and relevant but might suggest that, in this case, a useful piece of information and user generated guidance has perhaps been incorrectly and unhelpfully shovelled too far into obscurity by a slightly overzealous admin.
Said with all admiration and respect to the volunteer nature of the activity.

Oh right, I had no idea mods still can split threads, but connection can be still "salvaged" by linking from the original thread to this one.

Moderators cannot "split" or "merge" threads. According to the Capture One staff the ZenDesk platform doesn't have a feature to combine ("merge") threads. Moderators can move them from one forum area to another. I will move this one to the scripting and automation area.

Hello Walter Rowe
As mentioned above, the original post above was trying to bring attention to an issue regarding imprting images using the Leica Q in-camera crop mode. The original post wasn't mine so I don't know where it was first posted, but I did respond when it was shoved to the outer reaches of the community forum, away from any reference to the issue raised.
Rather than moving it to this Development and Automation Workflows - Scripting section which is a little obscure and not directly relevant, there are other threads which the post was specifically resolving.
Indeed, it was probably from one of those threads that the post was plucked from by a well-meaning moderator.
The appropriate threads it should really be with are copied below and I would humbly suggest that it should be parked to one of those instead as the issue is current and relevant.

I understand that Demetri Dourambeis. Ideally the Leica Q / Q2 / Q3 owners should open a support case, or post in the "Improve Capture One" forum. Since the OP above provided a script it seemed fitting to move their post to this topic area.

With that many threads it would be better in my opinion to have the script as a separate thread and link it everywhere with a blurb akin to "hey, if you are on a Mac, look - here is a workaround! <link>"
