Tethering a Nikon D850
With the following:
Mac OS v. 10.15.7 (MacBook Pro 15-inch, 2018)
Capture One 20 v. 13.1.3.9 (for Nikon) with Full Disk Access, Access to Files and Folders (Capture One isn't listed for permission to access the Photos app)
Nikon D850
TetherTools cable (works fine with the D850)
Capture One fails to connect with the camera. Can't continue spending countless hours reading confusing posts, trying combinations, checking settings, etc.
Capture One, please provide a simple, straightforward solution to this unacceptable problem.
Thanks

By not allowing CO to access the Photos App (and maybe other needed access rights), you prevented yourself from being able to tether:
"When launching Capture One 12.1.5 or Capture One 20 for the first time on macOS Catalina, you will be presented with multiple requests for Capture One to access various different areas of your Mac.
In order to be able to shoot tethered to Capture One, you will need to accept these requests. These requests are dictated by the operating system and there is little we can do to circumvent these access/permission requests."Did you remove the memory cards?
Some additional hint for the D850:
If all this does not help: How long is your cable?

Tethering on an old 17" MB without a problem
with the D850 but on earlier OS & CO version.0
