I have the same issue, here's what I posted on the "Uninstall instruction section"

I cannot uninstall this software! I downloaded Version 22 about 10 days ago for a 30 day trial, I've deactivated my computer, restarted and run Uninstall from the App&Features (Windows 11), and from Program files the file "uninst000.exe" and nothing! I've also turned the computer off, verified no Capture One software is running using Task manager but still nothing. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I'm done with this BS!!! You can't talk to anyone; you get no help from support at all... I have done everything possible!!! I upgraded to windows 11 and the program won't start!!! it says missing framework for .NET, but windows update shows it there!! I pay them monthly for no help!!! DXO RAW2 is a much better program.

Same problem here! I deactivated the license, I ended the process in task manager, tried opening with administrator, tried opening the unins000, tried compatibility mode, restarted the machine, updated windows. NOTHING works to uninstall this godammit software. I was wondering in buying this, now forget about it. I think the only option is to delete the folder of the program, I hate doing that but that`s the only way.

I'm in the same boat. The fact that the uninstaller is clearly broken is enough to stop me from even considering this software or any other C1 product. Excellent way to lose potential customers!

Yes, Capture One has again built in a big bug, like in the last updates since mainly v15.3. It seems to be again only in the Windows version, at least I haven't read it from MAC users yet.
I could only uninstall the application by hand, in this manual you can find the default paths:
    https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002402377-How-to-uninstall-Capture-One-
Alternatively: Read in a post here that overinstalling another version (15.3) helped, then doing a normal uninstall.

Do the Capture One techs not monitor these posts? I have the same problem - unable to uninstall the app in Win 11 on our workstations. Do we really have to re-image the computer just to remove the software?

Haha, two years later, I'm having the same problem. What a scam.

CuriousBean Here I am, too. I recently installed v.16.4.5.2312 and there he sits, v.15.4.0.16 unaltered since october 22 despite multiple updates and multiple attempts to uninstall it LOL Btw, I just found this set of instructions for manually deleting CO, maybe that helps? I haven't tried it for this specific case. If you try it before me, let me know. If I do it first I'll post my comment asap.

Removal of old versions is always a manual process.

WalterRowe That's only partially true. Installing a new version does not remove the old version, that's correct. Yet the problem in this thread is that v.15.4.0.16 doesn't uninstall even if i manually execute the uninstaller (000unins.exe) from within the folder and as an admin. For the last 2 years I always have two capture one versions installed in my PC: the newest one and that old v15.4.0.16 one. It seems that the uninstaller file doesn't really work.

There are links above for uninstalling Capture One. Have none of those instructions worked?

    > Go to C:\Program Files
    > Right click on the Capture One folder
    > Under General tab, at the bottom is "Attributes"
    > Uncheck "Read-only" then hit apply. Select "Apply changes to this folder, subfolders and files" then OK
    > Go to Ad/Remove Programs (Or Apps>Installed Apps) then uninstall from there OR search "Uninst000.exe" inside Capture One folder then run as admin

Pogi Thank you for the effort and alternative solution. I just tried it at it still doesn't work. My guess is that the uninstaller file is isn't working at some point. I do get briefly a CLI window (all black) but nothing happens afterwards, same behaviour. I unchecked the "Read-only" on both the main "Capture One" folder and its subfolder "Capture One 22" (the one that's giving me headaches), but no luck.

Walter Rowe Nope, sorry. At least in my case none of the proposed solutions works. I always get a black CLI window after double clicking "Uninst000.exe" and that's it. Same behaviour when trying to uninstall from Ad/Remove Programs.
