Make sure the C1 distortion slider is at 100 (%). Even with the manufacturer profile the correction will often not be applied by default, ie slider at 0.

You could try the Clarity tool. Set clarity and structure to minimum. You might need to add layers to get enough blur though. Maybe reduce contrast to minimum as well.
