When the file comes into the LR watched folder it will be imported. LR won't go back and look at the xmp sidecars automatically after you have rated the images. You can force it to read them though...

I have imported several large catalogs into CO from LR without issues on a Mac. The issues I tend to have are after the import. The Catalog just doesn't have the required tools yet to manage it eff...

You can also reset the image and then press command-z to "undo" the reset. There is no before/after toggle like Lightroom or Aperture.

I can't help you but can confirm I have the same issue sometimes.

The CaptureOne Settings folder that appears in every one of your picture folders is a required component for "sessions". If you use a catalog instead you won't have these as the data will be stored...

Are they raw images ? there is a setting in the prefs that turns of editing for non raw images like jpg / tiff.
