Your edits will be imported with the files, when you have saved them before in xmp sidecar files (check the settings) with the photos. I'ts always recommended to set it to "full sync".

Can you try to set the colorspace to Pro Photo and the TIFF format to compressed. This should work at least with Affinity Photo.
