Subject Mode
Detects the subject of the image and enables control of Constraints, Margins, and Alignment. Best for products or full body images.
The are four Constraints (teal lines if Show Crop Rules is enabled):
- Set fixed left and right margins from the subject, fixed aspect ratio
- Set fixed top and bottom margins from the subject, fixed aspect ratio
- Set fixed margins on all sides, aspect ratio will change based on subject
- Consistent crop between wide and tall subjects
Margins (teal zones if Show Crop Rules is enabled) update when you manually change the crop, and when margins are directly input into the fields, the crop will update.
Change the subject Alignment (red dotted line if Show Crop Rules is enabled) to below, in the middle of, or above the baseline when using left and right constraints, and to the left, in the middle of, or to the right of the baseline when using top and bottom constraints.
Show Crop Rules visualizes the current set of rules in the viewer. This can be helpful to understand how the cropping will work.
