Starting with Capture One 16.8.3, selected Hasselblad cameras and lenses are now supported. This marks an important update, enabling photographers working with Hasselblad systems to edit their RAW files directly in Capture One with dedicated profiles and optimisations.
Capture One currently provides file support for the following Hasselblad camera models:
- Hasselblad X2D 100C
- Hasselblad X2D II 100C
- Hasselblad CFV 100C
This means you can import, view, edit, and export RAW files from these cameras. For the complete and regularly updated list of supported models, see Camera Models and RAW Files Supported by Capture One.
In addition to camera support, Capture One 16.8.3 includes lens profiles for 19 Hasselblad XCD lenses – see this page here: Lens support in Capture One
All supported lenses include built-in correction profiles. Light falloff correction is set to 100 by default. Capture One applies lens corrections based on focus distance data stored in the RAW file. However, when this information is not available—as is currently the case with Hasselblad files—a standard default correction is applied instead.
Capture One is working with Hasselblad to enable focus distance metadata in future firmware updates. Once available, the application will automatically use this data to apply more precise lens corrections without requiring any changes from the user.
