- Go to the Exposure tool tab.
- In the Exposure tool, adjust the Contrast slider to the right to increase contrast throughout the image. Move it to the left to decrease contrast.
You can control the contrast of the image with the Curve tool. However, the Contrast slider is faster and easier to use than working with curves for most people, and it also affects the colors in a slightly different way than the Curve tool does.
In this video, Contrast is adjusted in 4 ways:
- dragging a slider;
- using a mouse scroll;
- increasing values with the Up/Down arrow keys in small increments;
- increasing values with the Shift + Up/Down arrow keys in large increments.
