When exporting RAW files as variants using the DNG file format option, the settings files (e.g., any image adjustments made) and metadata such as descriptions, keywords, ratings, and color tags are not retained. You can, however, archive or share your RAW files complete with all adjustments and metadata intact by packing them together as EIP files instead.
Note also that exporting native DNG files as variants from the original Leica M Monochrom, Leica M Monochrom (Typ 246), and Leica M (Typ 262) using the DNG file format is not supported.
NOTE: You can not convert and process previously processed files such as JPEGs and TIFFs into DNGs.

Lily Jack W Denis Huk Walter Rowe Ian Wilson Sharon Leibel just making sure: any adjustments (i.e. crops) as well as ICC profiles applied to images in Capture One will not be retained during export if we select DNG as the file format, correct?
Ana Nino .. that is correct. Capture One does not store any adjustments in the original file or exported files. No other application can use Capture One's adjustments.
Ana Nino Correct. Happy to help, but please try to only tag one of us in future :)
Myself and Denis are Capture One staff, whilst the other people you tagged (and eventually helped in this instance) are fellow users.
