Any update on when we will get A7C support?
Will support be brought back into capture one 12, or only provided for the latest release?

It says Canon EOS R6 Tethered Capture is supported but I can not get my R6 to show connected in Capture One. I tried on two Macs, one running Catalina 10.15.7 and one running Big Sur 11.0

    Hi Andrew,

    Thank you for the comment.

The camera might be not recognized if the cable length exceeds 3 meters or whether you have some extensions/adapters.

Also, the camera might not be recognized in case there is a card inside it.

Please, also check this page with other troubleshooting steps that will help to get the camera connected/recognized:

    Thanks Lily

I didn't realize having a card inside the camera was the issue. Its working now.

I see a few requests already but no word yet - any indication as to when we’ll see Sony A7C support? I’ve had to move my workflow over to Lightroom for more than a month now :/

I think the suggestion is that the release notes will also be available later this year.

Probably quite soon since there is not much of the year left to later.

    Hi!!

    Now downloading the new C1 21 :)

But why no support for Panasonic DC-S5?

    Still waiting...

I have to edit exif manually to use C1...

Is there a plan for supporting S5?

    Hi,

Canon 1D X is supported in the latest versions of Capture One as well.

Please let me know which product version are you using for the latest version (Pro, Nikon, Fujifilm, Sony, Express).

Also, make sure that you have enabled Canon in the Preferences -> Capture.

Hi Lily - did you see my suggestion for Capture One for processing  raw files from Nikon z 6 II?

I wrote it about 3 weeks ago

    best regards

    Piotr

    Hi Lily
I saw a lot of questions about support for Nikon z 6 ii NEF files and I know a lot of people are waiting for this help. Me too. But because I need to prepare photos for publication, I have to manage somehow the z 6 ii files..
I discovered that it is enough to change the EXIF data on the camera model from the Nikon 6 ii to the Nikon 6 - and my new Capture is doing great with photo manipulation. Unfortunately, the problem is with the EXIF programs for Windows - many things have to be done manually.
Couldn't you please release an update for Capture One, which for now automatically treats z6ii files like z6 files?
It would be a great help to me and probably to many other Capture One users shooting with the Nikon 6 ii.
    Waiting the answer,
    Best regards
    Piotr

Hi Lily, thats a big pity. I bought the Sony a7C in early November with a free Capture One 20 license included from a local photo shop. That made the offer attractive. I activated the software immediately and I am still waiting since then for Sony a7C support. And now my license is useless? That's kind of crazy.

    Hi Benjamin,

    Thank you for clarifying this.

As this license was obtained outside the webshop of Capture One, the reseller (the shop where you purchased a camera) should be contacted. Could you please get in touch with them regarding this issue (please, also mention that Sony a7C is supported starting from Capture One 21).

    Hi Lily
I waited a long time for a Capture One update that will "see" RAW files from Nikon Z6ii Before version (14.0.2) came, I took pictures in jpg or changed the header Z6ii into Z6 in exif.
I was glad for the version (14.0.2) and the ability to work faster with RAW files - I shoot sports and I need to quickly send photos to the agency, so every improvement counts for me.
My joy with the update lasted as much as two matches - photos taken on iso 800 (ISO 800 !!! and what to say about higher ones) after processing in Capture One cannot be viewed.
Ladies and Gentlemen - I get better results when working on the free FastStone.
Please improve your product - I look forward to the next update that will actually handle Z6ii files just like Z6 files or better

I attach jpg exported from RAW Z6ii - in one case I replaced the file header with Z6

omg, I paid lot of this program (version 20) in september and now you are telling me you dont support Sony a7c? This program is useless if it doesnt understand RAW files!!

  • Jukka Heinonen

A7C released before capture one 21 even exist, how can you treat your customers like that? Dont say I have to buy 300€ lisence to 21???

I plugged my X-T4 to my computer.

Windows sees the camera and the files.

I open my trial of C1, I let it run 6 minutes because it has to do hardware calibration (6 minutes).

Ok, I go into Import, I see RAF, I click the small arrow and I can navigate the folders.

I go to my camera folder, I see my photos, I select them, I click "Review for Import" - nothing happens.

Please tell me what I should change in my settings to import photos - X-T4 it's stated as supported, and there is not a single clear guide as to how to do this anywhere that I could find with a Google search - so even if it exists, it's useless.

    Hi,

Apologies if this is the wrong spot.

I have a question about support for the new DJI Air 2S raw files.  Does Capture One support the built in profiles?  I ask as when I open the raw dng files in Capture One they show heavy vignetting and some distortion.  This isn't the case in other RAW converters I have tried.

If the files are supported is there anything special I need to do within Base Characteristics / Lens Correction etc?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

I am using COP21 build 14.1.1 for Windows.

Please support Sony A9m2 uncompressed RAW files correctly.

Compressed raw files are fine, but uncompressed raw files are very inaccurate. Increasing exposure creates a green color cast on black. If you look at the RGB value of Black, which has increased the exposure value, the red is very low and the green is high. As a result, Cyan and Green Colorcasts are very severe.

    increased exposure by 1.43 stop

    increased exposure by 0.55 stop

I want the profile of the A9m2 uncompressed RAW to be modified correctly.

    Thanks.

    Hi Sanghun,

    Thank you for the comment.

I have forwarded your request to the Support Team. They will get back to you soon.

However, you can adjust the color as you like and save it as an ICC profile. You can save it for your camera model.

For more details please see the article
    https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002602258-Saving-a-color-scheme-as-an-ICC-profile.
