If you are a former Capture One Express for Sony or Capture One Express for Nikon user, you’re entitled to a free replacement license for Capture One Express for Sony / Nikon (version 16.3.8).
Please note that this version of Capture One Express was released in April 2024. It is no longer supported so there will not be any further patches or updates released. It may not be compatible with the latest hardware or operating systems. For details on compatibility, see this article.
If you also purchased Capture One Pro or an All-in-One license or subscription in the United States between 30 January 2024 and 30 January 2025, you may also be eligible for a refund.
If you are eligible, we will contact you within 14 days to confirm your details and process your refund. If you believe you are eligible and have not heard from us in 14 days, please reach out to our friendly support team.
How to check your eligibility and claim your license
- Log in to your Capture One account using the same email address you used to register Capture One Express
- Visit the Plans and Services Management page
- Confirm your details and accept the terms and conditions.
- Access your license in Plans & Services - your Capture One Express for Sony / Nikon license will appear immediately.

I used Capture One Express for Fujifilm, am I eligible?
As a Fujifilm user, you have access to a 3 month free trial of All-in-One. You are able to use a free replacement version of Capture One Express called Fujifilm Raw Converter. Find more details and download it here. Note that to access the Fujifilm Raw Converter you must scroll down the page.
What will I receive?
- A free license for Capture One Express for Sony / Nikon 16.3.8 - added directly to your account
- If eligible, a refund covering your license or subscription to Capture One Pro or All in One, purchased between 30 January 2024 and 30 January 2025.
How will I get my refund?
If you’re eligible for a refund, you'll be notified within 14 days. Our support team will contact you directly via your registered email to confirm the amount and process the payment. Your refund will be handled automatically after you reply to confirm your details.
Important information about refunds
Refunds are only available to users who activated Capture One Express for Sony / Nikon and purchased one of the following products in the United States during the eligibility period.
If you purchased a valid license for Capture One Pro between 30 January 2024 and 30 January 2025, we will refund you the amount paid. If you take up this offer, this will deactivate your license and you will no longer be able to use it.
If you started a subscription to Capture One Pro or All in One between 30 January 2024 and 30 January 2025, we will refund you the amount you have paid for this subscription between the start date and the date we process your refund. Please note that we are not able to cancel active subscriptions on your behalf. If you wish to stop future charges, please cancel your subscription directly through your account management page.
