To complement the keyword implementation, the logic of combining keyword presets has changed in Capture One to allow blending of presets in a more predictable sequence.
Tools affected are keywords and IPTC fields where word lists are supported:
•Subject Code
•Supplemental Categories
•Scene
•Getty Personality
•Keywords
In the versions before Capture One 9, for example, combining the presets
A
B
C
and
A
D
E
F
would result in B and C being removed in the keyword list.
Capture One now combines the list in a more logical way, so that the resulting list would be:
A
B
C
D
E
F

My problem with this is if a value in an additive IPTC field (with the exception of keywords) is applied to several images in error or needs to be removed for some reason, it is only possible to do so one by one, since copy-pasting an empty value from another picture will not remove it. Is there a method for this?
Hi Oliver,
The values in the fields of the Metadata tool can be changed manually one-by-one or by using a Preset with predefined fields. The preset will override the existing data in the fields of the Metadata tool, so it is better to correct everything one by one.
