About Copy Adjustments and Apply Adjustments
The Copy Adjustments and Apply Adjustments tools are available in various parts of the application and allow you to copy adjustments from one tool (local) or one image variant (global) and apply them to selected image variants.
When you Copy Adjustments, they are copied to the Adjustments Clipboard.
When you Apply Adjustments, the adjustments from the Adjustments Clipboard are applied to selected variants.
You can access Copy Adjustments and Apply Adjustments from:

The easiest way is to Navigate the Cursor Tools palette where you can toggle between Copy Adjustments and Apply Adjustments by clicking on the corresponding tool icon and holding the mouse button until the sub-menu appears.

Copy and Apply on Layers
Capture One 20 and newer versions open up for a more flexible, layer-centric workflow. You can now select which layers you would like to copy to other images. Additionally, the Layers that get applied to other images will be added on top of already existing Layers instead of replacing them.
In Capture One 12 and earlier versions supporting the Layers feature, those Layers copied from one image to another completely replaced the existing Layers on the target images.
It is now possible to copy and apply layers between images of different dimensions as well, making it much easier to streamline a workflow where, for example, multiple cameras are used and Styles are applied to Layers.
Copying only Styles between images
When you want to copy only the Style (and no other adjustments accidentally), you can copy it directly to the Adjustments Clipboard using the Copy to Clipboard option from the tool's Action menu.
NOTE: Only one Style may be copied at a time, as selecting another Style replaces it in the Clipboard.
1. Select an image in the browser with the Style or stacked Styles applied that you want to copy. Note that the image may include individual adjustments in addition to Styles.
2. To copy only the Style (or Preset), click on the Action menu button (... icon) in the header bar of the Adjustments Clipboard tool, select Copy to Clipboard and then select the required Style or Preset.
3. To keep the Styles data separate from other adjustments when copying between images, make sure the Include Style Name option in the tool's Action menu is enabled with a check-mark. Styles data remains visible and editable. If unchecked, Styles data is merged with other adjustments, making subsequent editing or removal of individual Styles impractical.
4. Select the images you want to apply the Styles and any individual adjustments to in the Browser, using the Cmd/Ctrl key (macOS/Windows).
5. To apply the adjustments from the Adjustments Clipboard, press Apply.

Is it possible to copy and paste an "action"?
e.g. Using the heal brush to remove dust spots. C1 will usually make a good choice for the source. However if I copy this layer to another image, C1 will use exactly the same location for the source and this does not always work! Ideally C1 needs to know that C1 made the decision and needs to redo that step on pasting the adjustment. The same feature would be useful where we can use the magic wand - like rotation and flip, levels, etc.
Thanks!
About Copy/Apply on Layers, CaptureOne 20 and after Layers that get applied to other images will be added on top of already existing layers instead of replacing them, I understand maybe some of the photographers need these function, but if just change the figure of the layers setting then apply to all others, these will need to rest the other photos first, otherwise layers settings will getting duplicate and duplicate, as a photographer which use from CaptureOne 3 to now, I think is the worst change even, copy and paste is mean copy and paste with same thing not getting more and duplicate, hopefully can give back the full replacing feature to us, whatever a new button or an option for us to select.
Thanks!
I am trying to copy an adjustment layer with a mask, from one image to another. Here it says "You can now select which layers you would like to copy to other images. Additionally, the Layers that get applied to other images will be added on top of already existing Layers instead of replacing them." But unfortunately I cannot find where or how to make this copy. I see only options to copy styles or to copy masks, not to copy a complete layer with its mask. Is this possible?
Title says copy and apply layers, but there is not instruction how to do that. That is what I am looking for. How to copy a layer from one image to another.
1. "In the adjustment clipboard.." How can I get to the adjustment clipboard ?
2. "Include Style Name" Is no longer exist.
3. It is possible to copy and paste more than 1 Style, actually this is the only possibility to put 2 Styles on an image.(Copy twice and then you can copy & paste both )
