I thought it would be released today but I can’t find it in the AppStore?

I thought I’d be able to actually tether while shooting and transfer files to an external hard drive while shooting. So far not the case from what I can tell. Big disappointment ! If I’m wrong please let me know.

@Michael Gomez Tethering is not yet possible, but it is part of the roadmap – expect it to come in a future update.

I have installed and does what its expected. Some tools are a little bit slow on my 2018 iPad Pro 11", like Clarity or Contrast, there is a delay so it takes a second or so to show results. I have a question. Where the raw files are stored when imported? I did a test importing RAF images from an HD, but it seems the files were copied to the device instead of reading from de HD.

    Thanks!

The redeem code I have recieved as a beta tester doesn’t work, very annoying. I tried it more then once but without result. Anyone the same problem?

    Thanks!

My RAW files are being imported with Fujifilm film simulations automatically applied, is there any way to toggle this off so I can edit the original file? I may shoot in a mono simulation but then wish to edit in colour using that RAW file.

Is there a way to toggle settings on and off?

@Claudio In Capture One for iPad, you have one catalog which imports images into the catalog folder structure. It's not possible to edit images that exist in an external location.

It's exactly the same as using 'Copy into Catalog' in Capture One Pro - whereby your images will be copied to the device and saved into the folder structure, which exists under: On my iPad > Capture One (folder) > Capture One Catalog.cocatalog > Originals

You'll find all of your imported RAW files in this location, in a similar structure to when working with a catalog in Capture One Pro.

In any case, I will forward your feedback on to our PM and R&D teams. Maybe this is something we can work on in the future - but I hope I've clarified the way import works on the iPad. :)

@FirstName There's no way to turn this off in the application itself, nor is it possible to disable film simulations when you are importing. I will forward your comments onto our PM and R&D teams so that this can be considered in a future update.

@Peter I'm unsure exactly what you're referring to. Is it a before/after setting that you mean? If so, you can tap and hold on an image in the Viewer to see how it looked before making adjustments.

@jack or give us the drop down to choose a simulation or the film standard, they are in the software already so shouldn’t be too hard, hopefully

Any update since the release over a month ago? I’m waiting to see how many things we want are actually implemented before I consider subscribing.

@Cory Any changes to current functionality will take a bit longer than a month to implement - keep an eye on the App Store for update notifications. We will also update this content as and when the app receives any update to its core functionality.

    Hey!
Slight cropping occurs when you import photos.
Can't disable Lens Correction on iPad?

HI Haruki Nosaka - this is possible in Capture One Pro, but not yet on the iPad version. I've forwarded this as a feature request to our R&D and Product Management teams.

    Mr. Jack.

    Thank you for your answer.
I'm really looking forward to that feature being added.
    Good luck.

    Thank you.

Is there a reason Live View on iPad is missing from Capture One (iPad)?

  • Haruki Nosaka

    Hello.

Maybe I shouldn't ask a question here, but let me ask you one thing.

In the iPad version, I use a USB connection for tether shooting.
When the camera is photographed alternately vertically and horizontally,
The captured image may be automatically cropped to the previous screen ratio.

Sometimes this happens, sometimes it doesn't.
Please tell me what I can do to prevent it from happening.

Musawer Choudhry The only reason is that we haven't quite reached that period of the development cycle. I would expect it to come at some point, just not straight away.

Haruki Nosaka I recommend that you contact support in this instance so that we can investigate this behaviour further. You can make a request here: https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

How do I use same setting of "Save to". I mean, if a camera disconnect  Capture one, then I have to set up again.

I want to use 'save to capture one + card' every time.

Capture One Pro and Capture One mobile are separate products, but you can subscribe to our All in One bundle.

another default Save To option is a logged feature request.

and thanks Peter Halter, fixed it.

How can I turn on liveview on iPad when tethering the camera?

    1
  • Kam

So I guess its not possible to open c1 sessions on your ipad? Is that correct?

hey Marcin-san, Live View is a planned feature, see https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/11872803175197/comments/14951370262429

Kam no Sessions in Capture One mobile, but you can open EIPs, so perhaps try sending those to mobile as a workaround

Hey, I'd like to use my iPad Air 4 with a Fuji XH2s and a tether tool USB-C cable. When I connect the camera, a window opens that gives Captur one access to the system from the iPad. In the iPad settings, Capture one already has full access, but the camera is not displayed in the menu on the left so that I can work with it.

    Thanx Dietrich
