    Hi,

I have a problem with activating C1 22. I bought C1 21 2 months ago in a promotion where the same license key was to activate C1 22.
I have deactivated the C1 21 versions, but when I want to activate C1 22 (for Sony) I get this message:

Go to Capture one and Sign in - Go to you account - Click on Account History - You license is very small but you can copy and past it.

Every time I upgrade with C1 I have problems.

This time I've activated C1 22 and it took me to a brand new empty catalog. I had to find my previous catalogs via Open... and opened Greece.cocatalog

It did not ask me to upgrade but after seeing my previews for a second this happened:

If I open one of these I can see the preview with a message saying 'This image is in an unsupported file format'

I have the Fujifilm software and these are Fujifilm files which were working perfectly well in C1 21 10 minutes before upgrading, and in 22 I can see the adjustments I made this morning in the greyed out sliders in the tool tabs.

    How do I fix this?

I have an issue with activating C1 Pro 22. I bought Capture One Pro 21 around 2 months ago from B&H in a promotion where the same license key was to activate C1 22 Pro for free.

I have deactivated my C1 Pro 21 version, but when I want to activate C1 22 Pro, system says that I am in a trial period.

I had the same issue as many other users. I upgraded, but only the demo catalogue loaded. It took me awhile, but I finally figured out I needed to actually double click on my catalogue where it lived, and that brought it up in the program. This is quite different from the last time I updated the software. So, C1 geniuses... No instructions for this? I went through the C22 quick guide. Nothing. How hard would it be to put a simple "to access your catalogue..." screen during all of the opening billboards of the program? Better yet, how about it just works from the get-go? Sorry to sound snarky, but the whole upgrade/update process has never been easy, and I would have thought that by version 15 you could have gotten it right. All my other vendors seem to have mastered the art of the simple update. How about it, C1?

I have installed C22 after disactivating C21 following the instructions. Looked good, but when trying to use C22 nothing, nothing works. No modifications from RAW pictures are possible, but preview picture from stiching was possible. C21 worked fine with my PC. I tried this: freed lots of space in my PC, opened all firegates, restarted, restarted. I just don't find a solution!

After installing CO22 the final question: Do you want to upgrade your catalog to CO22 is simply not appearing! And consequently not upgraded. CO22 is installed with all the features but the engine is not upgraded. How to fix this? Using IOS Big Sur. Should I upgrade to Monterey first?

PS. CO21 has been deactivated before installing CO22 but not yet removed.

You will find your catalogue in the Finder (Mac)

I have the same problem as one of the users above. I followed the upgrade procedure, but when I open my catalogue, instead of my images in the browser I see triangles with exclamation points. If I click on one, it says this image is in an unsuported format. This is with a catalogue that was working fine under version 21.

My files are Fuji, but I found this thread with an answer that worked for me.
Sixth post down, Robert Fahri's answer about relocalising the drive where the files are located. It was so simple in the end, but it was two months before I got a reply to the ticket I raised.

Thank you so much - you've saved me from banging my head against a brick wall!

although the drive wasn't disconnected right clicking the hard drive in the catalog/locate has solved the problem

Capture One WHY don't you put this in your upgrading catalog information???? it would make life so much easier

two months for a reply is that a record?!!!

You’re welcome, and I hadn’t disconnected my drive either, but the upgrade must have somehow broken the link.

I’m upgrading to 15.1.2 tomorrow and keeping everything crossed that I don’t have any problems this time.

Hello. I upgraded from Capture one 21 to Capture one 22 and everything is working fine. I didn't notice that I was supposed to deactivate my old version of capture one 21, so I just deinstalled. Everything is still working fine and my new license key is activated. Should I be worried that I did not deactivate my old license key.

    Thanks,

    - john

Capture One 22 is not working on my M1 MacBook Air on Monterey.

All images are blur in the Viewer view, even if I double click and open it. Video works fine. No matter how I zoom in/out or make edits, the image shown is blur and sometimes even blackout when I edit.

Tried every troubleshooting on the website including rebuilding cache, deleting Metal folders and disabling hardware acceleration etc. Nothing worked. I had to find a Windows machine and get things done.

Lightroom is working just fine on my Mac and I'm considering to switch over but the point is I paid $250 for Capture One Pro version already, just months ago.

Support request sent last week and I have not heard back yet. Paid pro user, not even getting response from support, ridiculous.

Sad what has happened to Capture One customer service.
I have a perfectly functioning Macmini running Monterey. All previous versions of Capture One ran smoothly on it. Not 22.
I had to buy a new computer to get it to run when I got exactly zero help from anyone from Capture One.
