Can’t get hard disk ID (serial number)

PROBLEM

Capture One was unable to get hard disk ID

SOLUTION 1

Try to run Capture One with Administrative privileges. This can be done by right-clicking on the Capture One icon and then selecting Run As Administrator. 

If you see that other checks fail, then fix those first as Capture One might be able to register even if the check fails.
