    Hey Lily, me again.

    I know this FAQ applies for an old version of Capture one, but can I ask will something be available for the current product.

    "For instance, you bought a perpetual license for Capture One 12, so it will not be valid for Capture One 20 unless you had bought it after October 25, 2019 (with 1 free upgrade)."

    i.e. if you purchase Capture One 20 after a certain date, will we be entitled to "1 free upgrade" as well?


    This would certainly be a sensible option from a potential new customers point of view, especially now that Capture One 21 seems to be on the way.

    Hi, 

    I previously bought a copy of Capture One 12 with the free upgrade to Capture One 20, however I only managed to install Capture One 12 on my Mac and couldn't manage to get the licence key to work for the free upgrade to 20 by using the licence key i have for it. I would like to switch my licence over to my pc instead but can no longer download Capture One 12, and neither of my licence keys are working for the Capture One 20 download. Can you please help? Thanks!

    I have problem upgrading from Capture One 12 to Capture One 20 with the free upgrade license key (Coupon code). I have downloaded the Capture One 20 but when I typed in the License Code, it is invalid. Can you please help?

    Dear admin,

    I just format my imac and have a lic for Capture one pro 20.
    When i want to activate it, it doesn't allow me to use the program  because now is version 21 and 20 is no longer valid.

    Doesn't that mean i need to pay the upgrade in order to use this software ?

    Awesome BULLshit - I logged in with my correct license and you sell me the upgrade.

    But when installing I get the message that it's not possible.

    So instead of wasting my time, find a solution. 

    a) Either refund immediately and re-activate the old license

    b) fix my problem and send me the correct license code

    I am unimpressed with Capture One's upgrading/"perpetual" scheme to entice the unsuspecting user. I was perfectly satisfied with the older version and my 2 unused licenses. When I finally got around to buying another computer, I find that I have been "upgraded" and have lost my 2 remaining licenses. Never wanted an upgrade. You'll never see another dime of my money (which coincidentally was why I bought a "perpetual" - (per·pet·u·al| pərˈpeCH(o͞o)əl | adjective1 never ending or changing: deep caves in perpetual darkness. [attributive ] denoting a position, job, or trophy held for life rather than a limited period, or the person holding it: a perpetual secretary of the society.) - license.

    Found this page after trying to install v22. I just bought a "perpetual" license for C1 v21 last year, and now I need to pay another 300 bucks to use the new version? I don't agree with your marketing here. I thought I found a company that was different than everyone else but turns out ya'll are just the same. You won't be getting any more of my money.
